Recharge Your Towels

Recharge Your Towels | Get Inspired Everyday!

I came across this idea on Pinterest and I knew I had to try it! There comes a point in the life of a towel when it’s just not smelling quite right. No matter how much Clorox for colors I used, there was still an ‘off’ smell.

To the best of my knowledge the original source for this method is Wikihow.

‘Recharging’ your towels with vinegar and baking soda is right up my alley because they’re my two favorite household cleaners.

Homemade Chipotle Mayonnaise with Grilled Vegetables

Homemade Chipotle Mayonnaise with Grilled Vegetables | Get Inspired Everyday!

This is one of my favorite dinners to make all summer long. It’s so quick and easy, and I never get tired of eating Chipotle Mayonnaise! We usually add sweet potatoes or chicken to the grill to make this into a meal. In the spring, I like to add asparagus to the mix. Later in the summer, I add corn on the cob and sometimes mushrooms make their way in there.

We climbed Haystack Butte on our way through Glacier National Park to Canada. The trail is steep, but you can reach the Garden Wall trail that leads to Haystack Butte in only 45 minutes, (that includes picture time). From the Garden Wall trail it’s only another hour or so to meander through the fields of wildflowers and snow to reach the top of Haystack Butte.

Coffee Bean Candle Centerpiece

Coffee Bean Candle Centerpiece | Get Inspired Everyday!

The idea for this centerpiece comes from my Mother-in-law. She has a couple of them, and her house always smells amazing! After spending some time with them lately, it was just the inspiration I needed to finally make one for myself. Her centerpiece is made with hazelnut coffee beans, which smell really delicious. I had a dark roast from Guatemala (unflavored), so I stirred hazelnut extract into the beans to make a similar version. I also did a version with vanilla extract and coffee beans, which might be my favorite because I’m partial to vanilla.

Ginger Miso Dressing with a Green Salad

Ginger Miso Dressing with a Green Salad | Get Inspired Everyday!

The first time I had Ginger Miso Dressing, I was hooked! I knew from the first taste, that I would need to come up with a recipe so I could have it all – the – time. There is a great health food store in Missoula, Montana that makes a really good one, and it’s that flavor that I had in mind when I developed this recipe. I love the sweet-salty flavors combined with the fresh citrus juice. It’s zesty and oh… so addicting.
