These photos were taken of the mountains surrounding Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. I get mountain fever just seeing these photos. The sunset glow on Mount Vaught and Stanton is breathtaking. Can’t you just picture yourself on top of that peak. Maybe soon, we don’t have a final list of summits for the summer yet.
I have heard you can summit both of these peaks in a day, sounds like a good plan to me.
I love how the suset glow goes from golden to pink, turning almost purple right before the last rays dip below the horizon.
The colors were so vibrant as to leave you speechless in wonderment.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever a seen a sunset in the park quite like this before.
It was so spectacular, it got me thinking we should stay out later on our hikes more often.
