Glacier National Park in the Holidays

It was a dark cloudy day on Sperry trail. The cedars were dusted with fresh snow fall and looking like a holiday card. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the holidays than to be tromping through the snow in the crisp mountain air.

Candle Centerpiece

This centerpiece came about entirely by accident. I am not the most organized when we entertain, my whole focus revolves around the food, and more often than not I can’t seem to remember to put napkins on the table.

Raspberry Rolls with Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

It’s Tyler’s birthday this week and Raspberry Rolls are his choice for breakfast. Raspberry anything is a favorite around here, especially in the winter. The berries freeze so well and taste like summer in January.

Winter Salad

There is something about the crisp apples, sweet cranberries, and tangy feta cheese that make this salad a favorite of mine. A balsamic dressing doesn’t hurt either. Balsamic Vinegar is probably my favorite vinegar, you just can’t beat that slightly sweet tangy-ness combined with such depth of flavor.
