For many years I was super dedicated to a weekly at home facial, and my skin definitely thanked me for it. However life does get crazy at times, and I’ve fallen out of this weekly habit. But ‘now’ is always a good time to jump back on the wagon so to speak, and I’ve been working on taking better care of my skin again.
Once upon what seems like a long time ago now, it was recommended to me to try eating grain free. My first thought was ‘grain free? what on earth is left to eat?’. Eating grain free to me seemed like trying to go gluten free, but so much worse!
I used to make a spinach salad all the time that had crumbled gorgonzola in it, where you poured a warm bacon dressing over the top. It’s really beyond fantastic, but it also presents 2 problems, the first of which is that so many people don’t like blue cheese of any kind.
I’m back today with another instalment of seasonal muffins! This time around I went with cranberry and orange because it’s one of my favorite combos throughout the holidays and winter months. And I mean I’m pretty crazy for cranberry orange anything from granola to sauce for turkey day.
Maybe it’s because Tyler and I hadn’t been out hiking together in over 10 months, or maybe it was the golden larches. But in whatever it was this day was magical! We choose to hike Huckleberry Lookout specifically because it’s located in the midst of larch country.
