The Lake of Hanging Glacier in British Columbia is absolutely stunning, with unreal views, and vibrant aqua colored water! Our day hiking into this jewel of a lake was all around magic! There were a few setbacks of course which I’ll mention below. But between the waterfalls and having this gorgeous destination all to ourselves, it was pretty incredible.
The Lake Agnes Teahouse Hike begins on the shores of one of the most iconic lakes in Canada – Lake Louise. From there you climb moderately through the trees with a quick stop to view Mirror Lake. Right before you reach your destination, there’s also a waterfall next to the trail.
There’s a bit of conflicting information out there about the Highline Trail in Banff National Park. So hopefully we’ll be able to clear some of that up today! The route we ended up going through only took parts of the Highline Trail, but on the whole, it was a much better day.
We almost missed out on the this gem of a short hike simply because it had been a long day. But we decided that before we called it a day, we’d just pull into the parking lot, and see how busy it was.
