It’s taken me a long time to start warming up to the Instant Pot. For starters, it seemed like everything I tried ended up with the dreaded ‘BURN’ signal beeping at me. Then there was the fact that if I didn’t somehow set off the burn mechanism, then my food was always under or overcooked.
Lunch has always been my weakest link when it comes to healthy habits. I find it all too easy to breeze straight through lunch, and just work until the end of the day. In fact that particular habit started so far back, that’s it’s more deeply ingrained than I’d like.
This post has been a long time in the making, but I’m so excited to finally get it to you! I developed these simple marinades to make dinnertime easier, but also still flavorful.
I’m back today with another instalment of seasonal muffins! This time around I went with cranberry and orange because it’s one of my favorite combos throughout the holidays and winter months. And I mean I’m pretty crazy for cranberry orange anything from granola to sauce for turkey day.
Sometimes I have an idea for a recipe, make it, and everything works the first time like a charm. From there it’s just refining and testing. But then there’s those recipes where I kind of bomb it on the first time around.
Today marks the first ever Instant Pot recipe I’ve done! I do have to admit though, despite everyone saying the Instant Pot is the best thing since sliced bread – no wait… better than sliced bread, I remained unconvinced.

When I did a poll over on Insta Stories to see whether I should make a honey mustard or a ranch trail mix, honey mustard ended up winning. But it won by just the narrowest of margins. So I felt like I really needed to make a ranch version as well.
