April showers indeed, April snow showers! This is the beautiful scenery that I woke up to this weekend. All the bright green grass was turned to white. The sun was peeking out again but it was sure cold. It’s a good thing that I’m making Butter Chicken, our favorite Indian dish. I think we’ll stay inside and eat our warm, … Read More
Today I just couldn’t resist posting a few photos of Spring. Even though they don’t qualify as an adventure, I wanted to share my Spring excitement with you. Be sure to check back on Friday for the usual weekly adventure.
We went out for dinner last night at Pescado Blanco, Mountain Mexican Cuisine in Whitefish, Montana. If you ever come to ski Whitefish Mountain Resort (Big Mountain), you should check it out. We caught this gorgeous sunset on the way back from a hike on Going to the Sun road. The day couldn’t have been anymore spectacular. Perfect blue skies and sunshine are an elusive combination in the Flathead Valley during the winter. You can count yourself lucky if it coincides with your day off.
I get mountain fever just seeing these photos. The sunset glow on Mount Vaught and Stanton is breathtaking. Can’t you just picture yourself on top of that peak. Maybe soon, we don’t have a final list of summits for the summer yet.
Glacier National Park – Today we tramped up Going to the Sun road to where the bridge crosses the river.
Today’s adventure is more of a photo kind of adventure. I hope you enjoy the beauties of Glacier National Park in the winter.
