loaded with tender apples and topped with crunchy streusel and maple frosting, this gluten free apple cake is perfect for fall!
start by preheating the oven and then mix together the dry ingredients.
next mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients to form the cake batter. Then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Mix in the chopped apples, or pile them on top of the batter.
finally top the cake with the streusel topping and bake until puffed in the center and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
when the cake has cooled, choose one of the frosting options, the maple is my favorite.
