Next mash together the softened butter or dairy free option together with the garlic and minced fresh herbs. Set aside while you get the beef tenderloin ready.

Prep the beef tenderloin roast by tucking the thin end under and cut into 2 equal pieces.

Next tie the roast (refer to the video on the blog) or have the butcher do it for you. Season to taste well with sea salt and pepper.

Then sear the roast in a cast iron pan until well browned on each side.
