Energy Balls

easy to make healthy snacks, these energy balls aka energy bites are the perfect grab-and-go option for sports practice, outdoor adventures, or for work snacks.

step 1

Start by measuring out all the ingredients. You'll find all my substitutions on the blog.

step 2

Choose the kind of nut butter that will fit the flavor you’re making. You’ll find my suggestions in the recipe.

step 3

Add all of the ingredients to a medium bowl.

step 4

Mix until thoroughly combined. If the mixture is too dry add a touch of water 1 teaspoon at a time.

step 5

Choose your flavor and measure out the mix-in ingredients. Stir in the mix-in’s until completely combined.

step 6

Portion out the energy bites and roll them between your hands to help them stick together and make a smoother energy bite. I like to use a cookie scoop for these to make it way faster to portion out.

3 key tips

1. add collagen or your favorite protein powder for a protein boost.

2. keep your energy balls in the freezer for longer storage.

3. for a nut-free option, try sunflower seed butter in this recipe.
