Start by bringing a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta. Then melt the butter in a large skillet, add the garlic and cook just briefly over medium heat being careful not to brown the garlic.

Next add the white wine and cook until almost gone before adding the cream. Bring the cream sauce to a boil being careful not to boil the sauce over the edge. Simmer until the sauce is just thickened and coats the back of a spoon. While the sauce is simmering, cook the pasta in salted water.

When you’re ready to toss the sauce together with the pasta, add the parmesan cheese and turn off the heat.

Toss the freshly cooked pasta together with the sauce and season to taste with sea salt and pepper. Sprinkle with more parmesan and fresh parsley if desired and serve.

Serve immediately with additional grated fresh parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of chopped parsley if desired. Pair this pasta with your favorite protein like chicken or shrimp.
