Best Apple Crisp

loaded with crunchy topping over cinnamon-y apples this apple crisp gets incredible flavor from a simple secret ingredient!

step 1

start by preheating the oven and measuring out all of the ingredients. I like to use either McIntosh or Granny smith apples.

Next mix together all the ingredients for the crisp topping and set the mixture aside.

Peel, core, and slice the apples into 1/4"-1/2" slices. To make this super quick, try using an apple-peeler-corer-slicer.

arrange all the apple slices into a 9"x13" baking dish.

Mix together the orange juice mixture. Orange juice is the secret ingredient that makes this apple crisp so incredible. You don't taste much orange, but it adds depth of flavor and natural sweetness.

toss the apples with the orange juice mixture and top with the crisp topping. Bake until bubbly and golden brown.
