Grilled Potatoes

gluten free | easy | dairy free

quick and easy to make, these grilled potatoes come together with just 15 minutes of cooking time and they're so flavorful!

step 1

Start by assembling the ingredients listed. Larger potatoes work best here because larger slices don't fall through the grill slats.

step 2

Next slice the potatoes into 1/4" - 1/2" thick slices. it's important to keep them in that range so they cook properly.

step 3

Place the sliced potatoes into a medium sized mixing bowl and evenly coat with the oil, sea salt, and pepper.

step 4

Place the potato slices directly on the preheated grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side until grill marks form and the potatoes release easily from the grate.

step 5

Turn the potato slices with tongs and grill for another 6-8 minutes or until the potatoes are tender in the center.

step 6

Serve the Grilled Potatoes as is sprinkled with sea salt and pepper, or follow my green onion variation.

step 7

Thinly slice the dark park of the green onions.

step 8

Then melt the salted butter together with the sliced green onions in a small saucepan.

step 9

Drizzle the green onion butter over the Grilled Potatoes and toss together. Season to taste with sea salt and pepper and serve.

3 key tips

1. Avoid any hot spots on the grill because they will burn potatoes.

2. serve these potatoes with any protein and grilled veggies.

3. choose large potatoes to make large slices that won't easily fall through the grill grates.
