just like the childhood classic, but made with healthier ingredients  and no refined sugar. they're also vegan with a paleo option too.

Start by measuring out the ingredients listed. You'll find all the extra options and substitutions on the blog.

The first step is to mix together the coconut sugar, coconut milk, coconut oil, and cocoa powder. When a lumpy mixture forms, start bringing it to a boil while stirring frequently.

After the chocolate mixture boils, it will thicken after boiling for 2 minutes. Once it thickens, remove it from the heat and mix in the coconut, oats, and any add-ons you might want.

Portion out the cookies onto parchment paper and allow them to cool until set up.

Or serve the cookies hot over a bowl of vanilla ice cream as a decadent topping!
