ultra creamy and deeply chocolate-y, this dairy free ice cream is a healthier option that's both vegan and paleo.

step 1

start by adding all of the ingredients listed into the blender. The avocado is the secret to an ultra creamy texture, but don't worry you can't taste it!

step 2

next blend until smooth and refrigerate the ice cream base until thoroughly chilled. this is important so it doesn't melt the ice cream freezer too fast while you freeze the ice cream.

step 3

finally freeze the ice cream according to your machine. I like to take mine out when it holds up well on a spoon. You'll also find lots more tips over on the blog.

step 4

mix together the optional fudge sauce for over the top and serve. You can also freeze the ice cream for a few more hours for a firmer texture.
