lemon vinaigrette is packed with fresh flavor and takes just a few minutes to whisk together. it's so tasty you may never buy dressing again!


step 1

Start by measuring out the ingredients listed. You don't have to use the Dijon mustard, and you'll find more tips and substitutions on the blog.

Next halve the lemon and juice it. Fresh lemon juice is essential here, and if you don't have a lemon I recommend a good quality vinegar like white wine or balsamic vinegar instead.

Then whisk together the lemon juice, garlic, Dijon mustard, sea salt and pepper together. You can also season with salt at the end.

Finally add the olive oil in a thin steady stream whisking constantly as the olive oil emulsifies with the lemon juice mixture. Continue to slowly add while whisking until the dressing is thickened.

2. try adding a touch of honey of maple syrup.

3. add freshly chopped herbs like basil, or a large pinch of Italian seasoning.
