make this easy and healthy spicy tuna salad in just 10 minutes, and meal prep it with veggies in just 20 minutes for healthy work lunches.

step 1

prep all the ingredients listed, you'll find all my tips and substitutions over on the blog. You'll also find tips for how to mix and match for seasonal options.

step 2

Start by prepping the veggies. Cut the cucumber and cherry tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. Then thinly slice the green onion and chop the cilantro.

step 3

Next, drain the canned tuna fish well and add it to a bowl. Lightly break it up with a fork or spoon.

step 4

Add the green onion, cilantro, mayonnaise, and sriracha to the tuna fish and mash to combine. The mashing helps to bring out a bit more flavor from the green onion and cilantro.

step 5

Serve the spicy tuna salad with the salad ingredients. Or portion it out into containers with the tuna mixture on one side and the salad on the other.

step 6

Drizzle with a little more sriracha sauce if desired, seal with a lid, and refrigerate.

step 7

Or serve this spicy tuna salad right away with the salad ingredients, or as a sandwich, wrap, or with crackers.

3 key tips

1. add sriracha to your taste, this recipe doesn't need to be 'spicy' to be yummy!

2. vary your fruits and veggies with the seasons, diced mango is perfect in place of the tomato in winter.

3. make this with Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
