Ranch Dressing

easy | dairy free | healthy

easy to make and better than store bought, this dairy free ranch dressing is popular with both adults and kids for dipping veggies, chicken nuggets, salads and more!

step 1

Start by measuring out the ingredients listed. you'll find more tips and substitutions on the blog. You can use any kind of milk or yogurt in this recipe from your favorite dairy free brand to Greek yogurt if you're not dairy free.

step 2

Next roughly chop the fresh parsley and dill before making the ranch dressing base. You'll find measurements for dried herbs as well in the recipe.

step 3

Then we'll make the ranch dressing base in the blender which is very similar to making mayonnaise. You'll also find a mayo substitution option in the recipe to make this even easier.

step 4

Finally add the spices and fresh chopped herbs to the ranch dressing base.

step 5

Blend the spices and fresh herbs to combine and help the flavors begin to meld together. This ranch dressing tastes even better after a couple of hours in the refrigerator.

step 6

Transfer the finished ranch dressing to a storage container and refrigerate for up to 1 week. I love using mason jars or Weck jars for this dressing.

3 key tips

1. Use fresh herbs for the best deepest flavor, but the dried option is still good.

2. Thin the dressing base as desired to create a thinner dressing or thick dip consistency.

3. don't skip the touch of almond extract, it really enhances the berries.
