Tuscan Steak

an Italian classic that's super simple to make, this Tuscan Steak is sure to be a hit paired with easy side dishes.

step 1

Start by measuring out the ingredients listed. You'll find all the substitutions on the blog, including all the best types of steak to use.

step 2

Mince the garlic and rosemary then mix it together with the olive oil in a small bowl.

step 3

Next place the steaks into a container and pour the marinade over the top. Turn the steaks to evenly coat, seal with a lid, and refrigerate.

step 4

Preheat the grill over high heat. Then when the grill is hot, sear the steak on both sides until cooked to the desired doneness. The average 1" steak takes just 3-5 minutes per side.

step 5

You can also rotate the steak halfway through each cooking time to create the classic crosshatch marks if your grill has single slats.

step 6

Serve the steaks with your choice of sides, you'll find my Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus linked in the recipe as well. We love this on a bed of greens, drizzled with olive oil, and sprinkled with flaked sea salt.

3 key tips

1. Make sure the grill is very hot so you get a good sear.

2. Use a meat probe to make sure you don't over or undercook your steak.

3. Serve with simple veggie sides to let the flavor of the steak be the star of the show.
